Then again, the city pick up isn’t that reliable. You’ll probably have to call them 3 or 4 times just so they show up… and that’s if you’re lucky. I once had a queen mattress and box spring bed I had to get rid of and someone from the city told me that they’d stop by that day. So I haul that bed to the curb and wait for them, NO ONE SHOWED UP!

So, if these people expect their crap to be picked up when they called it in, then it’s going to be there for a very long time. Which is probably why its all still there! So to anyone reading this, my suggestion to you is, if you have big bulky items that you need to get rid of like Pronto, call a private hauler or junk removal company. Sure you’ll pay for it and its not free but at least you wont have people spatting on you behind your back. Plus the fact that doing so might actually prevent an accident that could seriously hurt someone.

So please do the right thing, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR JUNK OUT IN THE STREET FOR DAYS AND WEEKS AT A TIME, PLEASE!
