Trash & Lies

I hate trash, i really do i despise it! Why you may ask? Well let me tell you a story about trash and lies. Junk removal was my business, i would show up and get rid of trash and debris from residential and commercial properties. One day i arrived to get rid of a large dump load from a city parade the previous day and had way too many items to take of myself. When i arrived, the customer had already been given an estimate over the phone. Approximate, but not exact they were given the closest price that would befit what was described over the phone.

When me and my workers arrived we were ready to go and get the job done just as we always do. We did the hard work and picked up all of the junk and trash that the customer had available. It was a tough and grueling job because it was also about the hottest recorded date of the summer so far!

After we were done and used our teamwork to get rid of all the junk we met up with the customer to settle up on payment. It was a little more than what they described over the phone so we gave them the correct and fair price. The customer then refused to pay the amount! Can you believe that a person would do that? They argued with me until i had no choice left but to waste another 40 minutes on this job as we unloaded all of the trash and placed it in the same spot we had lifted it from. This was one of the worst junk removal jobs i had to do because of a finicky customer!

Construction debris can be hard to dispose of in the Thousand Oaks area. Disposing of construction debris can be a forest of red tape for contractors. If you are a do it yourselfer disposing of construction debris in a community like Thousand Oaks can be downright baffling. Most local landfills are not open to the public and some landfills don’t take certain types of construction debris.

The easiest way to get rid of construction debris is to hire a hauling service in the Thousand Oaks area. A hauling service knows the ins and outs of construction debris disposal around Thousand Oaks. A hauling service can quickly and efficiently clean up a construction site. If you are just starting your do-it-yourself project book a hauling service at least a week in advance so you won’t have a lot of construction debris lying around.

Using a hauling service eliminates the worst part of do-it-yourself construction — the clean up — and lets someone else do the work for you.

If you are remodeling your bathroom or just demolishing your own bathroom you are going to have a lot of tile to dispose of. The same is true of a kitchen demolishing. Lots of tile can be hard to dispose of and because tile is considered construction debris you cannot just put it in the trash. If you need to dispose of tile in Los Angeles you have two options: rent a dumpster or hire a hauling service in Los Angeles.

Renting a dumpster in Los Angeles is often problematic. Dumpsters are heavily regulated in most parts of the city. In Los Angeles proper you can’t put a dumpster on the street without a permit and in certain parts of the city you can’t even put a dumpster in your driveway. Dumpsters also come with very specific weight limits. If you go over a specified weight limit you will have to pay extra in overweight fees.

Hauling services in Los Angeles are more expensive than dumpster rental on the surface, but can save you a lot of time and money in the long term. A hauling service comes to your worksite and disposes of your tile and other construction debris for you. They do the hauling and disposal for either a flat rate or by how much you fill the truck with. Hauling services in Los Angeles take the guesswork and labor out of construction debris hauling and disposal.

I’m getting sick and tired of people leaving their huge crappy furniture in the alleyways near my apartment building. I don’t understand why some people don’t just pick up the phone and call the city of a trash pick up. Do they expect it just evaporate like water?

Then again, the city pick up isn’t that reliable. You’ll probably have to call them 3 or 4 times just so they show up… and that’s if you’re lucky. I once had a queen mattress and box spring bed I had to get rid of and someone from the city told me that they’d stop by that day. So I haul that bed to the curb and wait for them, NO ONE SHOWED UP!

So, if these people expect their crap to be picked up when they called it in, then it’s going to be there for a very long time. Which is probably why its all still there! So to anyone reading this, my suggestion to you is, if you have big bulky items that you need to get rid of like Pronto, call a private hauler or junk removal company. Sure you’ll pay for it and its not free but at least you wont have people spatting on you behind your back. Plus the fact that doing so might actually prevent an accident that could seriously hurt someone.

So please do the right thing, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR JUNK OUT IN THE STREET FOR DAYS AND WEEKS AT A TIME, PLEASE!
